How to maintaining silver furniture

Collecting silver furniture is fun thing to do, but when your furniture become dull and rusty look this tip may help.
  •  Eating utensils made from silver should be washed with warm soapy water. Rub gently with a soft sponge, rinse with clean water and dried immediately
  • Never let left dirty eating utensil too long, especially after  used for serving foods that contain vinegar, sulfur (yellow eggs) and salt.  outer layer of this silver metal will become corrosive if not cleaned immediately.
  • Soaking too long is also not justified, especially if using high soda soap. it will fade the shine
  • Perform regular maintenance once every year. simply rubbed with a cotton cloth that is impregnated with silver polish. Stop rubbing every time the fabric used looks dirty, replace with new fabric, do it until the furniture really clean and shiny.
  • If there are rusty stain which are difficult to remove, do not be scrap it with a sharp object. Rub with a special stain remover liquid for metal, do until the stain completely disappeared.
  • Storing Silver furniture  can not touch each other directly.Cover it with a soft cloth / velvet at all furniture, this to avoid furniture to scratch each other. If you planing to store in a long period, make sure furniture are in clean and dry condition.
